Professor Ann Lousin

Professor Ann Lousin appeared on CLTV’s “Politics Tonight” on June 27, giving input on the dismissal of two proposed voter referendum on whether to have a new approach on redistricting, and whether to reduce the size of the Illinois Legislature, set term limits and change the parameters for a governor’s veto.

She was a guest on “Chicago Tonight” (WTTW) on July 7, discussing the Illinois Supreme Court’s ruling against the state’s attempts to cut medical benefits for pension recipients.

She also was a guest on “Chicago Tonight” on July 21, discussing the newest developments in the Illinois term-limits initiative

She also gave interviews to the Associated Press, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times columnist Mark Brown on the Supreme Court’s pension benefits decision.

Additionally, her op-ed on restoring ex-felons to full citizenship was published in The National Law Journal on July 21.

Professor Steven Schwinn

Professor Steve Schwinn was a guest on WBEZ’s Afternoon Shift on July 23, 2014, discussing the latest Obamacare rulings in the federal courts.

He was also a guest on Arise News TV where he spoke about the recent affirmative action decision involving the University of Texas.

In addition, he gave interviews to CBS News and USA Today regarding the Affordable Care Act.

Professor David Sorkin was featured on the NPR program Marketplace where he spoke about the differences in internet privacy laws in the United States and Europe.

Professor Hugh Mundy

Professor Hugh Mundy weighed in on the Will County double-murder trial of Bethany McKee in a story in the Chicago Sun-Times.

Adjunct Professor Sheila Murphy

Adjunct Professor Sheila Murphy welcomed students from the Positive Learning in an Atmosphere of Individual Development (PLAID) Academy the law school for a tour, and took them on a visit to U.S. District Court where they met with Judge Jeffrey Gilbert.
