Professor Ann Lousin

Activities

On June 17 and 28, 2013, she gave the first two of several planned interviews to the oral history project of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Foundation in Springfield, IL.  Mark DePue, the oral historian of the library, interviewed her as a “noted Illinoisan” with more than 40 years’ experience in Illinois public life. These first two interviews addressed her early life and her work at the Sixth Illinois Constitutional Convention in 1970, where she was a research assistant.

Future interviews will concentrate upon her views of the Illinois constitution, her work with the Illinois House of Representatives in the early 1970’s, and her subsequent work with state and local government.
